Since school is now transferred to online, athletics have been postponed.

Athletic Director, Mr. Mike De Jong, says, “I am optimistic that we could start in the 6 weeks or so and be able to offer our usual full array of sports. I don’t know when Middle School sports will start. Our league will be meeting this week and hopefully we will have some answers soon.”

The RCMS athletic department is not sure when they will start athletics in spring, but they hope to get cleared to do sports then. They plan to have us back at school before then, and later on the school will have to get a verification allowing sports from the city or the head of schools.

They can't make that decision right now.

Mr. De Jong hopes incoming six graders can have their first season of sports at Redlands Christian Middle School. He also wants to make sure that students have the usual sports available to them.

Everyone is doing their best to achieve normalcy during these strange times.
