Washington D.C. is a fun trip, but it costs to go. The Redlands Christian Middle School’s eighth graders will be going on a historical trip to our country's capital, along with New York and Philadelphia. This trip is quite expensive though, so in order to help out the kids going, RCMS partakes in a fundraiser where the students sell cookie dough.
The students sold a wide variety of cookie dough to buy from chocolate chip to trail mix. 7th grader Isaac G. says, “I sold around 400 dollars worth of cookie dough.”
They also have coffee cakes and cinnamon rolls. People can buy a pack of cookie dough for 17 dollars. The cookies themselves come in a big box sliced and ready to bake.
When 7th grader Aiden G. was asked if it easy to sell cookie dough to people, he said,”I don’t know, ask my mom.”
This fundraiser is a big help for any students planning on going on the trip. Over time this fundraiser could pay for most of the trip if students really try. I would highly encourage anyone going on the trip to sell some cookie dough.
I like how you express feeling to the reader, and showing why you would want to go on the trip in the first place
I like how you put in my experience and how you encourage other people to sell.
This was a very interesting article and I really enjoyed reading it. I liked how to you talked about some of the people's experiences like Isaac.
I like how you included Ali's comment even though it is not a straight answer.
