In August 2015, Antonio V. started to think about playing the piano, and played the same month with a private teacher. Antonio said, “I like it. It is a very nice instrument.” Tony was influenced by his mom and cousins; no one yet had played piano in his family, only the flute. On December 9, 2016, Tony played his first concert: a solo in front of over 50 people.

3 years later, Tony is still playing. He has played in concerts for 150 people in total. In a cold room in the RCS middle school, as there was chatter in the class, I asked Tony question after question, and Tony, with much thought, slowly answered the questions. Tony was wearing jeans a light jacket casual t-shirt. He is relatively calm.

“Tony you have a great talent,” said his piano teacher, and it stuck with him.

Tony is the first piano player in his family. He was convinced by his mom and cousins to play the piano. He also likes to read. He averages to an hour and 30 minutes every single day.

Overall, Tony has a lot of hobbies like reading, and he watches TV sometimes too. He also has one cat, Tom the Cat. His favorite class is robotics and Tony is building a robot that has a claw and can pick up things. Most of all he loves to play the piano.
