There is an app out right now raging worldwide. This app is called TikTok, and over five hundred million people use it daily.

The app has been great and entertaining to some people, but not all, because there is some explicit music and dances, depending on who users follow. 8th grader Ella C. says she enjoys watching it laughing at the videos. It also helps when she gets bored. “It's fun and a place where you can express yourself without being judged."

Song and dance trends on TickTok include "Renegade," "Bubble Gum," "I Used to Be so Beautiful," "Martha Dump Truck," "Eyes. Lips. Face.," "Again," "223's," and the crip walk to name a few. All these dances are very popular. They all have their very own technique and fun moves that kids, teens, and even adults can enjoy.

TikTok can also show God in many different ways. 8th grader Rylee D. says she thinks it's a great app. "It shows how everyone is different, so you can see on there how God created people as a masterpiece and how everyone is funny in their own way."

Another student in the eighth grade, Sarah G., says she can see God in TikTok because she actually follows a lot of people that are Christian, including pastors that preach on TikTok about God's word to make people's day.

8th grader Bradley G. says, “I think that it's great and it's addicting." He added that he enjoys making cringe/funny videos.

TikTok has made and impact on our society in two different ways. 8th grader Sarah Gill says the app makes everyone more active and friendly, but 8th grader Karsten Stein says, "It has made people more glued to their phones more than people already are because it's an addicting app and it's fun.”

No matter what your opinion, this app can make anyone laugh and smile in so many different ways, especially when having a bad day.
