The Middle School 2022 Play

Ladies and gentlemen...the students of RCMS will be proudly presenting Alice in Wonderland in the Eagle’s Nest, on December 2nd and 3rd directed by new 6th grade Bible and Science teacher, Mr. Leal.

The cast is ecstatic to share this whimsical story with you! Come on, follow Alice down the rabbit hole, and frantically paint the roses red with the playing cards! On Tuesday, August 30th students had the opportunity to audition for the play

Middle and high school drama teacher Mrs. Leal said, “The show will be directed by Mr. Leal and I and we are so excited to assist in the Wonderland Magic”.

Mr. Leal explained, ”Rehearsals will start on September 8th on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:45pm to 4:25pm. Rehearsals will end on December 1st as we go into our tech week.”

The auditions were August 30th with callbacks on August 31. 8th grade cast member Amelia R. said, ”Alice and Wonderland has a bit of everything: creepy edge, excitement, suspense, mystery, and crazy comedy in between!“

35 students are in the show, but some of the people are in lead roles such as 6th grade

Brooke S. playing Alice, 8th grade Logan L. will be playing the White Rabbit, and 6th grade

Sophia M. will be playing the Queen of Hearts.

6th grade cast member Alivia R. said, ”I am so excited to learn more about theatre!”
