RCMS Football Team

The RCMS Football team is looking forward to and is ready for the first game of the 2021-2022 season. The game will be played on Thursday, September 9th. It is an away game against California Military Institute.

Don't let the name scare you, the team is confident they will win.

Leading the RCMS Football team is Coach DeJong backed up by Assistant Coach Rappaport and Assistant Coach Carrillo. Together they are leading 18 players into battle with them. Josh R., Brady R., Jonathan O., and Isaiah M. have been selected as captains of the team.

According to player Nathan S. “[The team chemistry] is good, we all help each other out and pick each other up,” and good team chemistry leads to everyone trusting in each other and playing their hardest for each other.

A player to watch this game is tailback and middle linebacker Sebastion C. Coach DeJong said, “You will notice him almost instantly on offense as tailback, and you will also see him leading the defense as middle linebacker.

It's sure to be a great season of football.
