It all started in Los Angeles. Life in L.A. wasn't that fun for Valentina. She says “Sure, there were a lot of cool restaurants and stuff, but it is kind of over-romanticized.” Valentina lived all her life in Los Angeles until December 7, 2019. But before she moved to Redlands, he found something that she will forever treasure in her heart.

Most kids in life dream to be a YouTuber, a doctor, an engineer, or even an actor or actress. But for Valentina, her career consists of helping people in a way that can affect them their whole entire life. Valentine says she wants to be a therapist. “I want to be a therapist so I could help make a change in someone’s life,” she says.

She explains how "she wants to make an impact on other people's lives and help people live the life that they deserve.” She says that most of the time people agree with her decisions, but she understands why people may think it's “weird.”

“Some people are kind of shocked though because some think, 'Why would a kid that young want to be a therapist?', but I kind of understand the shock,” says Valentina. She handles it like a pro.

Valentina likes to read, write, cook, and go horseback riding. She says she loves to eat tuna melts, watch movies with her mom, and listen to songs, specifically Christmas songs. Her favorite book to read is called So B It. She also goes to church at LAX Calvary Chapel.

One day at Valentina's old school, she was assigned a project and she had to choose the topic. Valentina decided to do it on anxiety, something that people suffer with constantly. But while she was looking for the information, she stumbled upon a website. On the website, it had a bunch of videos and she watched a couple and was shocked. She says “ I watched some of their videos and I saw how these kids' whole lives have been changed by this one place! Their whole life!” From then on, it only inspired her to keep going.

Valentina says “If I could get to one kid and change that kid's whole life, that would save many others.”

With all said, don't let anyone get in your way when you have a dream or goal. No matter what job or activity or goal you were to pursue you should do it. Even if that means a therapist.
