For some people, running is not their thing, for others running is their life. If you are one of those people, or even if you’re not, you should join the cross country team.

Many kids enjoy the sport. 7th grader Mark O. said, “I like running because it teaches you to keep going.”

Redlands Christian Middle School’s cross country team meets every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The practice takes place right after school from 2:45 - 4:15. Cross country is a sport that helps you build your stamina and endurance.

8th grader Madeline H. says,” I joined cross country to help with my endurance for soccer.”

The team’s first meet was Friday, September 6th. The high school has a bus that the middle school team could take. Parents are also allowed to take their child. 6th grader, Joshua R. says,” My mom is going to drive me to the meets.”

The Cross country team’s first league meet is Saturday, September 14, 2019. The first race will begin at 8:00 am. The location of the race is at Moreno Valley College - 16130 Lesselle St. Moreno Valley, CA 92551.

The Cross Country team’s next race is on Tuesday, September 24th at 3:00 pm at Linfield Christian High School- 31950 Pauba Rd, Temecula, CA 92592. Come cheer on the cross country team as they run their 2 mile race.
