Great New Teachers Join RCMS

Amazing new teachers Mr. Colvin, Mr. Beebe, Mr. Van Solen, and Mrs. Massey are a great new addition RCMS. These teachers are educating the middle school on subjects such as speech and debate, PE, Spanish, and ASL. Mr. Spear decided to hire them this year to provide us with multiple new electives.

Mr. Colvin, the new PE teacher, said that he came to teach new electives. He also said, ¨If I sat next to Jesus I would ask, what does heaven look like? I would also ask Jesus how long does this earth last?” He was born in L.A. and his favorite basketball team is the Lakers.

Mrs. Massy is an exciting new Spanish teacher here at RCMS who also teaches Bible to the 6th graders. She stated that her favorite class to teach is Spanish and her favorite food is all Mexican food. She has a very strong relationship with God.

One of the new teachers is Mr. Beebe, whose favorite color is red. He was born here in Redlands and his favorite soccer team is Manchester United. Also, if he got to ask Jesus one question it would be how to be a better Christian. He says, “I might think I am doing everything right, but God might not, so that is why I would ask.”

Another new teacher to join RCMS is Mr. Van Soelen. The team that he likes the most is the New York Yankees. His two most favorite foods are french fries and Korean bbq. He was born and raised in the midwest and came here to student teach. He loved doing it so much that he decided to teach full time here. If he could ask God one question it would be, “What happened to the Roanoke colony?”

All of these teachers are a great, knowledgeable addition to the RCMS staff and will be fun to have around.
