Future Criminal Investigator

Inspired by her FBI obsessed sister, Sophia H.’s biggest goal is to have a job in criminal investigations also known as the FBI. While Sophia was in fifth grade, her sister loved the FBI and watched many TV shows about criminal investigations. Sophia watched with her sister and was inspired to become an FBI agent.

She wants to be on the Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Service Branch or on Counter-Terrorism. She will have to be stationed in West Virginia and is willing. She would like to go to college at Ryerson, located in Toronto, Ontario in Canada.

She enjoys watching Criminal Minds, NCIS, and Quantico. Her favorite characters in Criminal Minds are Spencer Reid and Derek Morgan.

If she can’t get into criminal investigations she would like to work as a CIA agent. She says, “Being a CIA agent is my second choice, but I’m not that into it.”

“Being an FBI agent just sounds interesting,” says Sophia. Sophia answers my questions slowly, distracted by conversations around her. She plays with her Hydro Flask, confused by my questions.

She also likes soccer. When she was three, she liked kicking the ball and when she was five she played for AYSO because her sister and her cousin both played soccer. She started playing on the school team when she was ten.

However, hockey is her favorite sport. “I like the sport. It is just entertaining,” Sophia states. Her favorite teams are the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New Jersey Devils. She has been to one NHL game with the Kings and the Dallas Stars.
