On the morning of August 2018, Daniela got word that her grandma was struggling to breathe. They put her in a coma for a week, and then a month later her grandma stopped completely breathing and died at the age of 89.
Daniela said, “I wasn’t really connected to my grandma, and that made me feel really terrible, so I decided to work really hard and be a better person.”
One year later, Daniela W. sits with one leg crossed, focusing really well when she is doing her work, even when there are people talking really loud around her. She drinks sips of water while working and likes to look over to see what I am writing. This focus shows that she works hard to be a better person.
In the future, Daniela would like to go to college and get a degree maybe on engineering/computer science.
Daniela works hard in school and sports like volleyball and soccer. Daniela also plays the piano and flute. She wanted to be more active and pushed herself to do more. She's grateful for the family she has. Daniela has a sister named Karla, a Dad named Randell, and Mom named Cecilia. She is really smart and got a 4.0 in school during 6th grade.
When I asked Daniela what she hopes for this 7th grade year, Daniela said, "I don’t know.”
But the future still awaits her.
Daniela, I can really see just in spending time with you that you are really working hard to be a better person, even when your friends give you hard time. God bless you!
